A Good Article on Inept Reviewers & the Misplaced Gushing over John Green

John Green is not original, as this article points out and those reviewers and others who suggest that his works, specifically Stars, are the epitome of a "unique, fresh, new, etc." voice, style, content, story are sorely lacking in awareness of hundreds of books going back centuries that are the same and many of them are much better than Green's imitations of previous books published by great authors.  Green is merely an imitator, not an originator.

Must Read Regarding Young Adult Literature

I couldn't have said it better.  Great read for young adult librarians, teachers, parents, writers, readers, and reviewers.  Read it and pay heed--especially book reviewers.  Reviewers, do your research before you write lest you merely appear foolish.
